GUARDS LEAD IN UPDATED GH 50

November 16, 2017

While there are plenty of front court players in the top 20 of our updated GH 50 rankings, the first five spots are occupied by high level perimeter play. One of the most complete guards in the nation, Ashton Hagans, continues to lead the way for the junior class in the Peach State and the 6'4 lead guard shows no signs of giving up the top spot.

While a much a different type of point guard than Hagans, Norcross junior Kyle Sturdivant is the other ball handling guard in the top 5 while size, skill and athleticism are characteristics of Isaac Okoko, Elias King and Marcus Watson, who round out the top of our updated rankings.

Size is Next

While guard play dominates at the start, front court prospects make up 12 of our next 15 ranked prospects. Whether it a shot blocker like Babatunde Akingbola, a versatile, skilled forward like Eric Coleman or a hard playing, mobile forward like Leslie Nkereuwem or Harouna Sissoko, college coaches should have no problem finding prospects with size in Georgia's 2019 class.
