PROSPECT PROFILE: KAMANI JOHNSON
Holy Spirit's Kamani Johnson is one of the state's top uncommitted players in the 2018 class and is looking forward to a big senior season. "I've been working the most on my shot and it definitely has improved a lot and is now consistent. My goal for the season is definitely to win another State Championship."
After an impressive junior season for Head Coach Greg McClaire and productive numbers with the Southern Stampede in Nike's EYBL, yhe skilled, 6'8 forward has plenty of college coaches tracking his progress this fall. Johnson mentioned Kennesaw State, NKU, FGCU, UAB, UCF, Georgetown, Oklahoma, Nebraska Memphis, Utah, VMI, Minnesota, Georgia Tech, Elon and Georgia Southern all as schools who have shown interest. He is in the process of planning his first official visit to Kennesaw State.
"Recruiting is going good and starting to pick up a couple of coaches are coming to morning practices and workouts. I think this year as the season progresses and more schools see the role I play on my high school team more schools we’ll start gaining interest." added our #22 ranked player in Georgia's senior class.
